On our way back from Lahaina we north (the long scenic way around the island) on the very windy coastal road back to Makawao.

We hiked out to this rocky coast lne on the very northwestern tip of Maui.
There was supposed to be an amazing pool here, but I think we were there the wrong time of year, the tide was too low.
We did see these hermit crabs crawling down to a hole that had steam rising out of it and water splashed up when the tide came in.
